WHAT IS CBD?

CBD (cannabidiol) is one of over 120 known cannabinoids (active compounds) found in the hemp plant.  Many of these have not been well-researched to truly understand their potential.  Cannabidiol (CBD) is the second most abundant compound in hemp that is non-toxic and does not induce a "high".

WHAT DOES CBD DO?

The human endocannabinoid system consists of tiny receptors that play a key role in your everyday experience. CBD helps these receptors do what's needed in order to stimulate all kinds of beneficial changes throughout the body.  You could even say our bodies are hard-wired to benefit from CBD.

Most cannabinoids work by influencing special receptors found throughout the body.  When receptors detect a cannabinoid, they interact, triggering a biological reaction depending on the type of receptor, its location, and the cannabinoid in question.  CBD, however, likes to work a little differently.

When you consume CBD, it works behind the scenes stimulating the entire network of receptors.  That is not to say it cannot interact with these receptors on a one-to-one basis, but it prefers to take a general approach to well-being.  As such, CBD works naturally to reduce anxiety, pain, and sleep issues without any mind altering effects or "high" for the person using it.

The key to success when trying our products is being consistent with them for at least 3-5 days.  Otherwise, you will not fully know what it does for you.  If you try our CBD products and are not happy, we will refund your 1st order if you return the container.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEMP AND MARIJUANA?

The main difference between hemp and marijuana is their
chemical structure.  The plants look similar, but a closer
look shows a different story.

Hemp is naturally rich in CBD and low in THC.  It is legal
as long as THC concentration remains under 0.3%.
Fortunately, the low THC levels make it a prime candidate for
CBD oils, capsules, and more.

Marijuana, on the other hand, is high in THC, but can contain
significant levels of CBD.
THC works in a straightforward
manner, binding directly with receptors in your brain and
digestive system. This interaction, with high levels of THC,

causes the psychotropic side effects.

THE "ENTOURAGE EFFECT"

Full spectrum CBD is so called because it contains all forms of cannabinoids available in the plant.  Research has shown that the potential for broader or longer-lasting effects increases when you use CBD, THC, and other compounds from the cannabis plant together.
For example, including low amounts of THC unlocks the full potential of CBD.  Conversely, CBD inhibits some of the mind-altering effects of THC in combination.

Full-spectrum CBD extracts are an ideal way to take advantage of the entourage effect.

  1. They contain a diverse blend of cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids.

  2. THC levels in these extracts are well below the legal limit and won’t produce psychotropic side effects―you get all the possible benefits, without any of the drawbacks.

Due to what’s known as the “entourage effect,” full spectrum CBD is considered to be much more effective.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Our products are not THC free (they are all within the legal limit of under 0.3%), if you are in a situation where you are drug tested for THC, you could test positive.  Be sure to follow your employer's rules and be sure to tell them you are taking CBD.  You can print out our testing results to show them the THC levels.
